Nutrition And Yoga In Montessori Classroom

With time, kids have set up a ton of undesirable dietary patterns and in this situation, the importance of nutrition and yoga in a child’s curriculum plays a very exceptional role. Montessori training helps teachers to know more about the same and various to incorporate it in the classroom.

Healthy food and a balanced diet play a very significant role in a child’s growth and development. They should be instilled with healthy and nutritious food. Following are a few of the ways in which you can develop healthy eating habits in children.

  • Encourage them to eat home – cooked food.
  • Develop a proper eating routine.
  • Give them all the constituents in a proportionate amount.
  • Keep them away from excessive consumption of junk food

Also, it is very important to make children aware of the importance of yoga and nutrition. Children cannot be made aware only through oral means but a teacher should involve various activities, games, worksheet, play and show different videos related to this so that it grabs children attention and children are aware of the importance of nutrition and yoga.
